Memo: Mountain lion sighting near Sisson Meadow
and Lake Street, Mt. Shasta.
It was brought to Sisson School's attention that a mountain lion has recently been spotted near Sisson Meadow and Lake Street. We contacted Mt. Shasta Police Department, and they have assured us that if they receive any information, we will be notified. At Sisson School, we will be keeping kids on the blacktop closer to the school buildings. If you and your child walk or ride your bikes around these areas, please be sure to use caution.
